MultiChurch Movement Network to use discipleship book

Jeff Leake, lead pastor of Allison Park Church in Allison Park, PA, has joined with Daniel McNaughton to create a version of Learning to Follow Jesus. The book will be used by churches in the MultiChurch Movement Network. In this new book, Leake adds his distinctive voice to the scholarship provided by McNaughton, resulting in an effective tool for discipleship. The book will be available through their network, www.mcmnetwork.org.

Youth edition in beta testing

First Steps: Youth Edition by Daniel McNaughton and Claude Valdes, Jr., is now being tested at a few church youth groups in New York. The authors are receiving feedback from youth leaders about the ease of use of the booklet when discipling new teen believers. One of the features of the new booklet is the inclusion of a perforated card attached to the back cover, which will allow event altar volunteers a way of connecting teens who make a decision for Christ with a local youth pastor for follow-up. The finalized booklets are expected to be available for purchase in early 2012.
